Every single beautiful little bunny rabbit is suseptible to an awful fate.
This is known as Fly-Strike!

During the summer months, (april - september) the blow-fly is at its finest. It looks for dirt
and lays its eggs which hatch within hours... into Maggots! The blow-fly is not a fussy insect,
providing there is a little bit of muck, it will do nicely.

Ok, So you all keep your hutches squeaky clean - well do you??

In the summer, mucking out the bedroom area should be done every few days - sorry
but you do love your bunny dont you?

Most importantly, during summer your bunny should be checked everyday for infestation,
the blow-fly will lay its eggs in seconds, it will look for a bit of poo, or diarhoea if your bunny
is poorly. Once this has happened, a time bomb has started.

The eggs will hatch in hours, and the maggots will begin to eat their host alive.
This will cause your bunny to suffer extreme pain, they wil literally be eaten alive.
If caught in time, the rabbit may be saved, but you must check your bunny daily!

Please dont let your bunny suffer!
